Paulo hails from Manila, but has spent most of the last decade in Singapore, hacking on Linux and tinkering with datacenter deployments in the island state. Paulo joined the technical operations team at Voxel in 2009, building one of AsiaPAC's first bare metal and virtual cloud platforms. After Voxel was acquired by Internap in 2011, Paulo took on the role of Operations Manager and built a cream of the crop 10-person devops and network engineering team.
Paulo has since returned to his hometown and is the devops night owl for Packet. He is is the main man at PacketSolutions, a local Manila-based company, where he aims to hire the best and brighest DevOps and Container nerds in the Philippines and grow the AsiaPAC market for Packet's bare metal hosting services.
When not playing with his son (Ziki, 2 years old) or enjoying nice dinners with his wife, you can find Paulo riding his Fuji track bike in his spare time. And oh yeah, he has one of the worlds largest collections of in-ear/on-ear headphones, GoPro cameras and bluetooth speakers.
